Born in Seoul, South Korea, Jacklyn Kim is a Korean American raised in the DC metro area. She is currently a junior at Rhode Island School of Design getting a BFA in Textiles. She is very passionate about footwear, knitwear, and surface design. As a Textiles Designer she explores how materials and colors can create an innovative experience. Her creative process brings together visual phenomenas of how humans connect to nature and our surroundings.
Outside of textiles, Jacklyn loves to play golf, explore techniques in filmmaking, and experiment with photography.
